  • Connecting Europe Express (CEE) departed from Lisbon on 2 September. During its 36 days route around Europe, #EUSpace – Galileo and EGNOS – will keep you updated on the precise CEE’s location. #ConnectingEurope Express initiative celebrates the #EuropeanYearOfRail and raises awareness on the green benefits of train, and some of the challenges faced by the sector.  
  • This month, EUSPA is celebrating its 9-year anniversary in Prague. Back in September 2012, the GSA at that time moved from Belgium to the Czech Republic. Fast forward to 2021, there is even more #EUSpace in Prague!
  • #MyEUSpace competition in a nutshell: €1 million euro in prizes, fifty-four awarded teams, six thematic areas: smart mobility, environment, smart agriculture, surveying, quantum, and consumer solutions. Ready to show us how your solution can leverage #EUSpace and turn it into a successful business?

  • The augmentation service providers map supporting Galileo is now available. The online tool helps find information about augmentation service providers around the world that support Galileo.
  • Babcock Scandinavian Air Ambulance is engaged in daily emergency missions in Norway. Thanks to EGNOS capable aircraft, air ambulance pilots can perform a safe straight-in landing with the LPV approach. Read their EGNOS success story here.
  • The Copernicus data plays an important role in the environment monitoring. The new High-Resolution Vegetation Phenology and Productivity (HR-VPP) product, launched on 2 September, will allow a better monitoring of vegetation dynamics and allow to ecosystems and biodiversity.

  • September is a busy month for #EUSpace. On 7 September join the Towards SAFE and SECURE Urban Air Mobility Workshop, to hear from our Market Development Expert Carmen Aguilera.
  • Save the date for the next online EOcafe on 9 September together with our Executive Director, Rodrigo da Costa. Join the event to hear about the new role of EUSPA, our funding opportunities, Galileo and Copernicus synergies and more.
  • The European Rover Challenge, taking place 10-12 September, combines international competitions of mobile robots with scientific and technological shows. On 12 September at 11:00 CET, Justyna Redelkiewicz, Head of Sector LBS, Market & Technology at EUSPA will talk about space technologies for the Earth, and at 15:20 CET Dafni Dimoudi will present EUSPA Possibilities of space projects financing.
